No fewer than twenty thousand Nigerians are currently languishing in various prison and detention centers across Europe for various forms of immigration offences such as forged documents, over stay, drug related offences and fraud, etc. The British Government under the auspices of British High Commission in Nigeria is supporting PRAWA to execute a project called: ILLEGAL MIGRATION PROJECT I-MAP in Nigeria. The purpose of the project is to increase the awareness of Nigeria youths on the effects of illegal migration and positive life planning skills.
