The governing board of PRAWA on the 24^th and 25^th of March, 2017 held its 17^th board meeting at the Golden Royale Hotel Enugu. Before the meeting, the chairman, members of the board and the Executive Director (Ag) accompanied by the Controller of Prison, Enugu paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice N.P. Emehelu to congratulate her on attaining the position and to discuss issues around the criminal justice process in the state and the way forward.

In the same light, the board also extended its courtesy visit to the State Commissioner of Police Danmallam Mohammed. The Commissioner expressed readiness to partner with the organization in making sure that the rights of suspects are respected and as a show of appreciation presented a plaque to the board chairman.
